The Income Tax Raids Do Not Seem Politically Motivated : Karthi

The actor Karthi is anticipating the release of his upcoming movie, "Viruman," which hits theatres on August 12. The audio and trailer for the movie were officially released last week in Madurai. Aditi Shankar plays the female lead in the movie.

The actor reportedly discussed the recent IT raids at the offices and homes of Tamil Nadu-based film financiers and producers while at the audio launch. According to reports, last week's raids also included the production house office of the "Viruman" film distributor. IT raids, according to the actor, happen about once every three years. According to reports, he also said that it doesn't appear to be a political move.

Coming to Viruman, Selvakumar has cranked up the camera for the film, which is directed by Muthaiah. Along with Aditi Shankar as the female lead, Prakash Raj, Rajkiran, Saranya Ponvannan, Soori, Karuna, Indraja Robo Shankar, and Myna Nandini will play pivotal roles. Meanwhile, Karthi is the main character in Viruman. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the music for the film, which was produced by Jyothika and Suriya under their own label, 2D Entertainment. The majority of the movie was filmed in and around the Madurai district, and like their previous mega successful movie "Komban," it will be a powerfully dramatic rural drama from Karthi and Muthaiah.

Viruman was earlier scheduled to hit theatres on August 31. The most recent poster for the movie is lacking the release date. Given that Chiyaan Vikram's "Cobra" is now aiming for an August 31st release, the makers' most recent tweet confirms that "Viruman" will have a change in the release date and the movie may have an early release.
