Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, popularly known only as Adele turned 32. She was born on May 5, 1988 in London. Since a young age, she showed great interest in music. She grew up admiring the Spice Girls and singing all their hit songs. Little did she know that twenty one year's latter she would be singing with them in the stadium of Wembley, England.
2006 saw Adele's very first album release, titled '19'. She became popular for her song "Hometown Glory” from the very same album. She was just a teenager when she wrote this song. Yet the maturity of the song resonated with so many. The lyrics went something like, I've been walking in the same way as I did/Missing out the cracks in the pavement/And turning my heel and strutting my feet."
In 2016 she released her next album '21'. Soon enough her album sold more than 30 million copies around the world. Its song, 'Rolling in the deep' secured the first place on all the important lists of the entertainment industry.
She released her third album, '25' for which she won two diamond awards. Only Adele had managed to bag those in the year 2010. '25' sold 22 million copies. In 2009 she received her first Grammy for her album '19' as the 'Best New Artist'.
Currently, she houses 15 Grammy awards and an Oscar for “Best Song” for the song “SkyFall”. Last year Adele celebrated her birthday in a luxurious manner. A Gatsby themed party at the Godfather mansion in Beverly Hills.
She recently split with Simon Konecki. They share an eight year old son. A representative shared the news saying, "Adele and her partner have separated. They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy. There will be no further comment."
