The makers announced the release date for the film Kotthu. The new film, Kotthu, directed by Sibi Malail, stars Asif Ali and Roshan Mathew. It is slated for an August 2022 release. The film Kotthu has been given a U/A certificate by the Censor Board.
This is also the first film directed by Sibi Malayil in six years. Nikhila Vimal is the heroine of the film. The last movie directed by Sibi Malayil was "Saigal Padukayanu".
This film Kotthu is set in the background of political murders. Kothu is scripted by Hemand Kumar Ranjith and PM Sasidharan produced the film under the banner of Gold Coin Motion Picture Company.
The film’s cinematography is by Prashant Ravindran. Editing by Ratin Radhakrishnan.
