Jio Studios brings one more feather to its cap with award-winning director Anant Mahadevan's The Storyteller. It was produced in collaboration with Purpose Entertainment and Quest Films. It was chosen in a Competition at the prestigious Busan International Film Festival. That was in South Korea. That was following the excellent unveiling of Kacchey Limbu World Premiere at the Toronto international film festival. The movie will be competing for the prestigious "Kim Jiseok" prize. It also made its world premiere at the event.
The Storyteller, starring Paresh Rawal, Adil Hussain, Tannishtha Chatterjee, and Revathi It is also praised as the Original among all Originals. The story of a rich man who employs a storyteller to help with his sleeplessness is told in the movie. It becomes more exciting as new twists are introduced. One of Ray's many tales is based on the mysterious Tarini Khuro figure. He invented this figure in the original Bengali short story Golpo Boliye Tarini Khuro.

From October 5–14, 2022, the 27th Busan International Film Festival will take place.
