Thor: Love and Thunder will include The Guardians of the Galaxy

More news is pouring out about Thor: Love and Thunder. The Taika Waititi directorial stars Chris Hemsworth in the lead role of Thor. The latest news has confirmed that James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy will be appearing in the upcoming Thor film.

 
This makes sense as last time we saw Thor he is leaving Earth alongside The Guardians of the Galaxy at the end of Avengers: Endgame. The Guardians of the Galaxy are now confirmed to play a role in the next Thor film. Taika Waititi is directing his second marvel film with Thor: Love and Thunder. Waititi previously directed Thor: Ragnarok which paved way for a new kind of Thor loved by fans and critics alike.
 
James Gunn launched The Guardians of the Galaxy into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The team includes Peter Quill aka Starlord, Drax the Destroyer, Mantis, Rocket Racoon, and Groot. Last time the space team made an appearance was in Avengers: Endgame in an all-out fight against Thanos and his army.
 
It will be fun to see how Waititi deals with this bizarre set of superheroes. For all, we know the guardians might make nothing more than a cameo in the film. The next slated film in the guardian's franchise called Asgardians of the Galaxy. The film slated for release at least a year after Thor: Love and Thunder.
 
Thor: Love and Thunder star Christian Bale as the film's main villain. Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman and Tessa Thomson are all also returning to reprise their roles.
