Told The First Screenplay To Dulquer, The Script Was Not Good Enough; Vineeth Sreenivasan About The First Film That Did Not Happen.

Dulquer Salman and Vineeth Sreenivasan are two of the most popular film stars of the Malayalam industry. Apart from being an actor, Dulquer Salman is also a producer. At the same time, Vineeth Sreenivasan has proved his mettle as an actor, singer, director and producer.

Vineeth Sreenivasan shares memories of reading a script to Dulquer Salman. The actor was speaking in an interview with Flash Movies.

Vineeth said that he first told a story to Dulquar before the film Malarvadi Arts Club, his directorial debut.

“The screenplay I wrote before Malarwadi Arts Club was first told to Dulquar. It was even before Dulquar started acting. I approached Dulquar knowing that he was interested in cinema;” says Vineeth. Vineeth said that the script was not good enough and that his father, Sreenivasan did not like the script. He abandoned the project for the same reason.

“The script was not good enough. Dulquer liked the first half. Dulquer did not like the second half. My father did not like the first half and the second half after reading it. So it was put back;” the actor added.

After Malarvadi Arts Club, Vineeth directed Thattathin Marayathu, Thira and Jacobinte Swargarajyam. Vineeth Sreenivasan’s next film is Hridayam starring Pranav Mohanlal.
