Trailer talk: Srikanth's web series 'Chadarangam' laced with political elements

Hero Srikanth is going through a rough patch for more than a decade. Barring Mahatma, none of his films in the last 10 years has clicked at the box-office. In the meantime, he also tried out doing supporting and antagonist roles in the films like Sarrainodu and Yuddham Sharanam, but even those attempts gave him the mixed results. Now, he is testing his luck in the webspace.

From the last couple of years, many popular actors are entertaining into the digital arena and are acting in web shows. Now, Srikanth has joined that list. The actor has worked on a web series called Chadarangam which has successfully completed its shoot. Chadarangam is a political thriller that is heavily based on the political situations happened in the Telugu states in the recent past. Srikanth played the lead role as a politician in this film. Tamil actress Sunainaa has essayed another important role in it. Noted actors like Ravi, Nagineedu and Chalapathi Rao have donned the other important roles. Chadarangam is being directed by debutant Raj Anantha and produced by popular actor Manchu Vishnu under his banner 24 Frames Factory. This web series will start streaming from 20th February exclusively on the Zee5 platform.
