Trisha Becomes The First Tamil Actress To Receive UAE'S Gold Visa

Trisha is one of the successful actresses in the Tamil film industry. Very recently in her career, she ventured into Malayalam and Kannada film industries. She was supposed to make her Telugu comeback with Chiranjeevi's Acharya. However, she opted out of the project due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. The actress recently wrapped up the shooting of Ponniyin Selvan, directed by Mani Ratnam. Over the past few months, the UAE government provided the prestigious Golden Visa to many Malayalam celebrities including Mammootty, Mohanlal, Dulquer Salmaan, and Tovino Thomas among several others. Recently, the UAE government honored a Tamil celebrity.

She took to social media to reveal that she is happy and privileged to be the first Tamil actor to receive the golden visa. The UAE Golden Visa is valid for 10 years which means those who possess the visa can visit the country several times and can work in the country without sponsorship. The visa extends to the holder's spouses and children. The actress recently went to Dubai for a vacation and received her golden visa from the Dubai officials. Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Boney Kapoor are recipients of the Golden Visa.
