Badshah's latest song Genda Phool became an immediate internet sensation. Not only are fans loving the song but many celebrities have also shared clips of themselves dancing to the tune of Genda Phool. Now tv actor Rashami Desai has shared a clip of herself dancing to Jacqueline Fernandez 's Genda Phool. Rashami Desai said that her friend Deepika Singh nominated her to dance to the song. Deepika Singh is famous for her role in the hit tv show Diya Aur Baati Hum.
She uploaded the video where she is seen doing various steps throughout the clip. She is seen wearing a beige top and a black pair of trousers. Rashami Desai's clip also caught the attention of one of her fellow Bigg Boss 13 contestants. Hina Khan commented on Desai's post writing, "Superb!"
Earlier Badshah's song found itself in the middle of a controversy. The controversy surrounded Genda Phool copying various lines from a folk bengali singer called Ratan Kahar. Speaking about the sudden controversy Badshah recently said, "Yes, of course, it did. But my team and I had done our complete research on the sample before using the sound, done our due diligence and everywhere it was mentioned as a traditional folk song.”
However Badshah has resolved the issue by speaking to Ratan Kahar. They are reportedly planning on doing another song together. Badshah has also credited Kahar for the song and paid him a sum of Rs. 5 lakhs for it.
