After many controversies, the first look poster of Ullasam is out! Mohanlal launched the first look poster of the movie. Shane Nigam features in the poster along with debutant female lead Pavithra Lekshmi. According to sources, Shane Nigam will appear in different avatars in the movie as he portrays characters from different age groups.
Ullasam movie has directed by debutant Jeevan Jojo. Joe Kaithamattom and Christi Kaithamattom are financing the project under the banner of Kaithamattom Brothers. Praveen Balakrishnan is the head of a screenplay for the movie while John Kutty is the editor. Shaan Rahmaan is the music director for the film.
The movie made headlines earlier for Shane Nigam's non-cooperation with the team. But, upon the intervention of AMMA, the actor completed the dubbing of the movie. It will hit the screens soon.
As per sources, Shane Nigam didn't co-operate with the Ullasam team for the dubbing. He asked the makers to settle his additional payments from the total of Rs 45 lakhs. But, the Producers’ Association claimed that the allegations made by the actor were false. As per the agreement Shane signed, his payment for Ullasam was Rs 25 lakhs. The producers added that the sudden hike was because Shane's father Abi, suggested that the actor's market was accelerating.
