Unni Mukundan Is All Praise For Samantha In Yashoda

Samantha Ruth Prabhu was last seen in Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara's Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. The actor played the role of Khatija and impressed everyone with her performance. The actress is now awaiting the release of Yashoda, directed by duo Hari and Harish. She will share screen space with Unni Mukundan in the film. In an interview with The Times of India, Unni Mukundan appreciated Samantha's performance in the film. He said, "I’ve completed filming for ‘Yashoda’. Samantha is a very talented actor. It was an honor to work with her. She has done some really good work for the film."

Stating that he was impressed with her work in The Family Man, he said, "Samantha is extremely hardworking. She had a lot of action sequences in ‘Yashoda’, and they weren’t easy. When you do a certain kind of action, it does take a toll on you. But she was very committed and I saw it in person.” Yashoda is tipped to be a scene-fiction action thriller. A few weeks ago, the makers released the teaser and it looks like Samantha is playing a pregnant woman in the film.
