Samantha Ruth Prabhu surprised her fans a few weeks ago when she revealed that she had been diagnosed with Myositis. Unni Mukundan, her co-star in the movie Yashoda, has now admitted that he was clueless about the actress' health status throughout the filming of the new-age thriller. He revealed in an interview with the Hindustan Times that “She never revealed that she was fighting such a disease. I felt sad after seeing Samantha's post. She'll fight myositis and come back in good health."
Unni Mukundan, who worked with Samantha on Yashoda, remarked, “She is a very dedicated and hardworking actress. She has prepared a lot for her role, and which includes action and emotional scenes. She interacts well with other artists on set. We discussed ideas to improvise a scene. In Malayalam, the working style is slightly different. We don’t rehearse much and perform directly in front of the camera so that the co-star’s reaction would be natural. I practiced the same for this film as well.”
On November 11 of this year, Yashoda is anticipated to be released in theatres. The initiative would be offered in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, among other languages.
