After Meppadiyaan, the film starring Unni Mukundan was directed by newcomer Anup Pandalam. He himself has produced the film under the banner of Unni Mukundan Films. The theatrical release of the film was on November 25. The story follows a young man Shefeekk, an expatriate from an ordinary family in the small village of Parathodu. The film also stars Manoj K. Jayan, Divya Pillai, Bala, Aadhaman Rajan, Shaheen Siddique, Mithun Ramesh, Sminu Sijo, and Jordy Poonjar in other lead roles.
The music for the film Shefeekkinte Santhosham is directed by Shaan Rahman. Cinematography by Eldo Isaac Naufal Abdullah is also editing.
