Urvashi Rautela has got herself in the middle of a plagiarism controversy after copying the review of Parasite.

Actress Urvashi Rautela, who recently came out in support of singer Kanika Kapoor, has now got herself caught in the middle of a plagiarism controversy. Late on Tuesday night, Rautela shared a review of the South Korean film "Parasite" on her twitter handle. Her fans soon took notice of the fact that the review was copied, word for word, from another writer. The original review was written by a New York based journalist known as John Paul Brammer

The twitter post read, "one thing I really love about @ParasiteMovie is that rather than depict the fam as scammers pretending to be good at their jobs, they actually do their jobs flawlessly! what they lack isn't skill, but institutional stamps of approval & the bows and ribbons that rich people love (sic)." Rautela has deleted the tweet now.

The original writer, who goes by the username of JP, also took notice of the actress, and said he is rooting for her. He also joked writing, "I never really get upset when my tweets get stolen because honestly I want them off my hands. "

JP also tweeted, writing, "I just woke up to a bunch of new Instagram followers because a D-list actress in India stole one of my tweets and it’s getting written up for some reason. good morning I love niche international drama."

This isn't even the first time Rautela has blatantly plagiarised something. Earlier, the actress copied and pasted comments made by the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well as those of international celebrity Gigi Hadid.
