Vaadivasal is one of the most anticipated movies in Tamil as it marks the joining hands of two extraordinary artists, Vetrimaaran and Suriya. Vaadivasal, directed by the renowned Tamil director Vetrimaaran, is based on a novel of the same title by the late writer C.S. Chellappa, which is about the ethnic Tamil bull sport, Jalikattu. Suriya is now working with director Bala on his latest project, tentatively called 'Surya 41’. Suriya will join the sets of Vaadivasal after completing the Bala movie.
A test shoot for Vaadivasal was held in April 2022 on the outskirts of Chennai, and the photos of that shoot went viral on social media. The makers are now planning to release the behind-the-scenes footage of Suriya from the same shoot on the actor’s birthday on July 23rd. An official announcement is yet to come on the rumors. But, as per insider reports, the video will contain scenes from the discussion phase to a scene from the trial shoot in which the actor will be seen fighting bulls.
Suriya was last seen in a last-minute cameo in the blockbuster movie Vikram. The appearance of Suriya as a ruthless villain in the film was celebrated by cinephiles and fans like never before. Suriya also has a promising line-up of films with directors Siva, TJ Gnanavel, Sudha Kongara, and R Ravikumar. The next movie in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe will also feature Suriya as shown in the climax of Vikram.
