Vaani Kapoor on facing lockdown loneliness: The fact that I had two films to shoot, kept me going

Vaani Kapoor, who impressed all with her performance in War, has two films lined up for her in the coming years. This is what kept the actress going and kept her motivated. Facing lockdown loneliness wasn't a big deal for Vaani as she said, "Honestly, I am very capable of being alone and taking care of myself. I could be a bit of a loner. I am okay in my own space. I like my own space actually. Whenever I needed people, my friends and family, they were always there in touch with me. We were always face-timing over the phone. So, I think I was okay and I think I was still doing pretty okay compared to so many other people who had to really go through real struggles.”

The Befikre actress further added, "The fact that I was optimistic that there are two films for me to shoot and they were going to begin soon kept me occupied. That kept me going. Work always keeps you going. It motivates me.”

Talking about doing household chores during lockdown, Vaani added, "I totally sucked at doing the household chores. So it was like a prayer answered when my house help came back once the lockdown eased. We take so many things for granted and the pandemic has made us realise that we need to have gratitude and be thankful for even the smallest of the things. I think humans adapt to any situation. We tend to create a balance in our heads and then sooner or later you learn to adapt and go with the flow."
