Vadhandhi - The Fable of Velonie, an Amazon Original series, will have its global premiere on Prime Video, India's most popular entertainment platform, on Monday. This suspenseful Tamil crime thriller, which follows the critically acclaimed Suzhal - The Vortex, was made by Andrew Louis and produced by Pushkar and Gayatri under the banner of Wallwatcher Films.
The eight-episode thriller will be open to Prime subscribers in more than 240 countries and territories beginning on December 2 in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada as well.
The show immerses you in the world of young and attractive Velonie, played by debutante Sanjana, whose life is filled with rumors, much like its title Vadhandhi, which refers to rumors. S.J. Suryah portrays a damaged but tenacious cop who becomes entangled in a web of lies but is adamant about discovering the truth. The small town's complicated fabric adds to the complexity and mystique of the Velonie legend. Famous actors including Laila, M. Nasser, Vivek Prasanna, Kumaran, and Smruthi Venkat play key roles in the ensemble cast of the series.
