Yesterday, Ashok Veerappan, a first-time director, shared the trailer for Vaibhav's upcoming movie, "Buffoon," on social media. Santhosh Narayanan wrote the soundtrack for the suspenseful drama. The film will be released to theatres on September 23, according to the producers.
The movie has the appearance of a criminal drama. The film, according to earlier statements by the filmmaker, is based on the lives of travelling actors who perform plays like Harichandra Mayaana Kaandam and Valli Thirumanam. The plot is made up of the problems they encounter along the journey and how they resolve them. The movie's trailer was posted by the director Venkat Prabhu via his social networking profile.
The cast of the film includes Vaibhav, Anagha, Joju George, Anthakudi Ilaiyaraja, Naren, Moonar Ramesh, Tamizh, Adukalam Jeyabalan, and Madurai MP Vishwanathan. The film is produced by Stone Bench Films & Passion Studios Production. Dinesh Purushothaman handled the cinematography, and Vetre Krishnan handled the editing. Filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj is presenting the film through his production house Stonebench Films.
