Vairamuthu in deep trouble after Chinmayi files complaint
It is a known fact that Chinmayi Sripaada called out lyricist Vairamuthu in the #MeToo movement. She accused him of sexual harassment and because she lost work in the Tamil film industry.
Many people questioned why Chinmayi didn’t approach the court if her claims were true. Under Menaka Gandhi’s guidance, Chinmayi has now filed a complaint against lyricist Vairamuthu with National Council For Women.
She wrote, “I have registered a formal complaint against Mr. Vairamuthu with the National Council for Women. As of now, this is the only legal route that I have. I am looking forward to the NCW @Manekagandhibjp in helping me take this complaint to a logical conclusion. (sic)”
She also revealed that she has filed a case against Radha Ravi and will be meeting him in courts in the coming weeks. Radha Ravi heads the Dubbing Union and he ousted Chinmayi for sharing #MeToo stories about him.
