Vaishnav Tej talks about Uppena movie, says the climax is not funny but divine

Panja Vaishnav Tej is another actor from the Mega family who is all set to make his debut with Uppena which is slated for release on February 12. The film is directed by Buchhi Babu Sana and has Vijay Sethupathi in a negative role.

Vaishnav was an artist as a child and he was seen in films like Johnny, Andarivadu and Shankar Dada MBBS. But while growing up, he never wanted to be one. He in fact had the idea being everything from a director, scientist and a photographer to an astronaut, race car driver, jewellery designer and a 3D animator.

“When I realised none of them would fit me, I almost even enlisted in the Indian Army because I wanted my life to have some meaning. But when I lost weight to pursue a career in the Army, I started getting offers for films. I even turned them down, but it was Chiranjeevi mama and Kalyan mama who encouraged me to pursue acting,” said Tej.

There are a lot of memes and news coming up about the climax of the film. When asked about it, Vaishnav said, “I can’t deny or confirm the same. But I would like to say that there is a divine reason behind the twist in the climax. I am glad to have said yes to the film and even if this acting career doesn’t fit me well, I will always find something else to do my entire life.”
