'Soorarai Pottru' is an upcoming Kollywood movie directed by Sudha Kongara. Suriya is playing the lead role in this film and the movie is also going to get released in Telugu with the title 'Aaakaasam Nee HadduRa'. Aparna Balamurali is playing as the female lead in this movie. There are a lot of positive reports about the film, even before the release of the film and it is all because of the promotional campaign that they launched.
The film is about the life of Air Deccan founder Captain GR Gopinath. Karunas, Jackie Shroff, Mohan Babu, Paresh Rawal are playing crucial roles in the film. Aparna Balamurali is the leading lady of the film. This is the first time that Aparna is acting with Suriya.

GV Prakash's music is pleasant. Anurag Kulkarni's voice and lyrics by Ramajogayya Sastry are too good.
Suriya's 2D Entertainment in association with Guneet Monga of Sikhya Entertainment is bankrolling this project. Makers are planning for a grand release in Summer.
