Valmiki, directed by Harish Shankar, stars Varun Tej and Pooja Hedge is all set for a grand release tomorrow across the globe. The film was censored recently and was awarded U/A certificate.
Meanwhile, the censor talk is not so positive or negative. Valmiki is the remake of Tamil film Jigarthanda and it is 4 minutes longer than the original. The entire film lies on Varun Tej’s shoulders and he has excelled with his style, gesture and performance.
While some say that the film might not work in A centre, some others reveal that it will work out in B and C because of its mass nature. Pooja Hegde's song and Atharvaa’s portions act as a speed breaker.
Mrinalini and Dimple Hayathi’s roles do not create a huge impact. Hence there is a lot of mixed talk surrounding the film and Valmiki’s fate now lies in the hands of Telugu people who haven’t watched Jigarthanda.
