Murali Sharma is one of the most versatile actors working in the Telugu film industry right now. Give him any character, be it a positive or a negative role, he just owns it and delivers scintillating performance. The actor made his Tollywood debut with the 2007 film Athithi and won the Nandi Award that year as the Best Villain. Recently, he is being praised for the performance in the film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.

 
Murali Sharma played the role of Valmiki in the film and he is receiving a huge response for his act in it. Speaking in a recent interview, Murali Sharma said that it gives him an inner joy of playing such a tough character. He also thanked director Trivikram for choosing him for such a role.
 
He opined that his career took a new turn after playing the role of heroine's father in the 2015 film Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy. Since then, he is getting various roles which can prove his mettle as an actor. Murali Sharma said that he has done 175 films till now and it has taken 30 years for him to reach this stage. The actor also misses his father, who passed away last year. He opined that his father would have been very happy after witnessing all these accolades.
