Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, the daughter of Tamil actor Sarath Kumar is one of the versatile actors in Kollywood film industry. The actress works very hard for every film and makes sure to entertain the audiences with her performances. So far, Varalaxmi acted in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu films. She made her acting debut in the year 2012, with the film Podaa Podi. She played a London based dancer in the film and impressed one and all. Later, she went on to play different roles alongside different actors in many languages. The actress celebrates her birthday today and it is her 8th birthday as an actor. She plays Jayamma in her next Telugu film Krack, starring Ravi Teja.

 
Varalaxmi was born to actor Sarath Kumar and his first wife Chaya in 1985. Varalaxmi's step-mother is Radhika but she prefers to call Radhika as Aunt and revealed it multiple times to the media. Varalaxmi has a graduate degree in Microbiology and a Masters degree in Business Management. She also underwent training at Anupam Kher’s Acting School in Mumbai. After becoming a professional actress, she got a lot of scopes to perform in a wide range of characters.
 
Varalaxmi made her debut in Telugu with the film Tenali Ramakrishna Ba Bl. She is now acting in Ravi Teja's Krack. Varalaxmi plays a character called Jayamma in Krack. The makers of Krack unveiled her look from the film and she plays the lead antagonist. Varalaxmi is looking powerful as a rural lady with negative intentions. The film hits the screens during Summer.
