For the past two months, Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor have been filming in Europe for the Nitesh Tiwari and Sajid Nadiadwala movie Bawaal. The team has filmed in several European nations, including Paris and Amsterdam, and is currently finishing up in Poland. The pair visited the Auschwitz Nazi Camp in Poland as part of their preparation.
"The full history of World War II and the tale of the Jews was told to Varun and Janhvi. They went there like visitors do and listened to a pre-recorded tape on the history of the location. The film's narrative, which has been kept fully secret up to this point, has a connection to visiting this Nazi concentration camp, according to a person familiar with the project. This source also indicated that more details about Bawaal would be released closer to the film's release.
Following their National Award-winning teamwork on Chhichhore, Sajid Nadiadwala and Nitesh Tiwari are back again with the film. Also, Varun and Janhvi are pairing for the first time.
Nitesh Tiwari and his team did an excellent job of capturing the visual backbone of the concept during the filming so far. According to the needs of the script, he has filmed the whole movie in real locations thus far, both in India and overseas, and Sajid, as a producer, has gone above and beyond to arrange for all the necessary shoot formalities," the source continued.
Currently in the last stages of production, the film should be finished by the end of July or the beginning of August. Bawaal is getting ready to hit theatres throughout the world in April 2023. Aside from Bawaal, Varun is preparing on another movie with Sajid Nadiadwala named Sanki. After Judwaa 2 and Bawaal, it's said to be an action-packed comedy and Varun and Sajid's third project together. Varun also plans to release Bhediya in 2022, while Janhvi will have two movies this year— Good Luck Jerry and Mili.
