Varun Tej will next be seen in Ghani which is billed to be a sports drama based on boxing. The makers had previously announced that the film will be hitting the marquee on 30th July but it will be postponed to a later date as Prabhas’s Radhe Shyam is releasing on the mentioned date.
The latest news is that Varun Tej has picked up his boxing gloves for Ghani.
A few intense action blocks featuring Varun Tej, Upendra, Naveen Chandra and a few other supporting actors are being shot now. Boxing-oriented scenes are being canned in a specially erected set.
Varun Tej has officially turned a boxer now and he will be shooting a few key portions including action sequences in the ongoing and forthcoming schedules.
Also, the makers unveiled a special update on the film as they released a fresh poster featuring the lead pair, Varun Tej and Saiee Manjrekar.

Varun Tej and Saiee are seen in a romantic mood in the poster and they share a sparkling chemistry.
Debutante Kiran Korrapati is directing Ghani and Thaman is composing the music. George C Williams is handling cinematography.
Sidhu Mudda and Allu Bobby are producing Ghani. The new release date will be announced in the coming days.
