Varun Tej played the role of the title character in his 2019 film Gaddalakonda Ganesh. The film follows the tale of a filmmaker who tries to make a film about a real-life gangster played by Varun Tej. Varun dawned a scary, tough, and thuggish look for the film. Varun received praise for his portrayal of the gangster. Many critics were of the opinion that one should definitely watch the film to see Varun Tej bring the character to life. Varun Tej shared a still of himself from the film with an equally scary caption! He wrote, “You can’t talk to a man, with a gun in his hand!” along with a photo of his character pointing a gun! Varun Tej had recently shared another still from the film. He shared a side profile of his character Gaddalakonda Ganesh with the caption, “Current Mood! #lockdown.”

 
Varun recently took to Instagram to share throwback photos from his trip to Hogsmeade in the Harry Potter World of Universal Studios! He shared two photos, one of him posing on the streets of Hogsmeade and the other of him posing with a cup of Butterbeer!
 
Varun Tej was last seen in Gaddalakonda Ganesh. The action thriller also featured Atharvaa, Pooja Hegde, and Mirnalini Ravi. Varun will next appear in the film VT10. Written and directed by Kiran Korrapati, the film will hit the theatres on 30th July 2020. The film is a sports film following the tale of a boxer. Sidhu Mudda and Allu Venkatesh will bankroll this film. S.S.Thaman will compose the film's score and George C Williams will handle Cinematography.
