The working title of Varun Tej and filmmaker Praveen Sattaru's upcoming film, VT12, is an action movie. It is revealed that despite rumors to the contrary, Varun Tej and Praveen Sattaru's movie has not been put on hold. On October 10, Varun will start shooting for the action-packed comedy.
“We are starting the shoot from October 10 after the release of The Ghost. It is based on climate change, which is a global issue”, Director Praveen Sattaru confirmed in an interview. “It is again an action film and will see Varun Tej in a very exciting role. Cannot reveal much but it is an out-and-out action film”, he continued. Varun Tej will be venturing into a genre with VT12 that he hasn't done since F3: fun and frustration. He will portray a bodyguard in the film directed by Praveen Sattaru.
In the meantime, Varun Tej will make his Hindi cinema debut with a movie based on real-life incidents. Shakti Pratap Singh Hada will make his directorial debut with his upcoming film, tentatively named VT13, which will be filmed in both Hindi and Telugu. It will feature Varun Tej as an Indian Air Force pilot.
The Ghost, a major release starring Nagarjuna Akkineni and directed by National Award-winning Praveen Sattaru, is currently under production. The highly awaited picture will be released in theaters on October 5th, 2022, in time for Dussehra.
