Vasanth Ravi says he had mental health issues during lockdown

Vasanth Ravi made his debut in Kollywood with director Ram's Taramani. He is now waiting for his second film, Rocky. Though the film has been completed long back , it is yet to see the light of the day. Recently, we had reported that Vasanth Ravi along with her firend started a mental health app called Mayan. In a recent interview with the Times of India, Vasantha Ravi said that he had to go through mental health issued and had to go for therapy.

In his interview, Vasanth said, "Yes, I did go through mental health issues and I am still going for therapy. I was suffering from anxiety and stress, and I am sure actors and people from the film industry go through these from time to time. I can’t pinpoint a particular time when it all began, but cooped up at home during the pandemic, made me realise that I was having anxiety issues. Staying at home 24/7 for three months, made me realise that the problem was deep within my soul. It was during one of those moments that I understood that I needed to speak to a therapist. I tried psychological counselling and even approached pranic healers. The consultations provided me a psychological balance and hope to hold on to life. They also boosted my productivity. I am still taking those sessions.”
