He announced the news on social media saying he was just 32 years old, yet he could not fight the virus. Hence he asked everyone to be safe at home amidst the raging Covid-19 pandemic. In a shocking turn of events, his father SA Ranganathan succeeds in the novel coronavirus on June 11 in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Reportedly, he got admitted to a hospital after his condition worsened. He was 60.
