The date of the upcoming drama Vedha, directed by Shiva Rajkumar, has been made public. The project will debut in theatres on December 23 of this year. The actor tweeted the following announcement:
The film, which was directed by A Harsha, is the actor's fourth collaboration with the director following Bhajarangi, Vajrakaya, and Bhajarangi 2.
The first look poster for Vedha, which features Shiva Rajkumar with a salt-and-pepper look, was recently released by the film's makers. He has blood all over his face. The first look image was posted to social media with the caption, “Head to the bloody chapter of war hunter, Hunt begins this Christmas".
The film's motion poster was also published by the creators on Instagram with the caption, “Witness the first motion poster of the brutal 1960s Vedha." The drama's slogan, "The Brutal 1960s," was introduced to us in the nearly 3-minute ad. Vedha was first revealed in March of last year and officially launched in December of the same.
Ganavi Laxman has been cast as the film's main heroine, opposite Shiva Rajkumar. Along with them, Swetha Changappa and Umashree will be featured in the drama in significant roles. It is said to be a historical action movie with a rural community as the setting. Vedha is Shiva Rajkumar's first film as a producer, and it has the support of Zee Studios and Geetha Pictures.
In addition to this, Shiva Rajkumar will play a significant part in Nelson Dilipkumar's next film Jailer, starring superstar Rajinikanth.
