Veteran actor Kaikala Satyanarayana, whose performances in many Tollywood films wowed everyone, has passed away. He died in Hyderabad at the age of 87. Besides his wife, Nageswaramma, Kaikala is survived by two sons and two daughters.
Satyanarayana was struggling for a while healthwise. According to reports, he had age-related problems. A few weeks ago, the actor was also checked into a private hospital in Hyderabad. After the prompt action, his condition had become rather stable. He had received his hospital release. He was in a serious state, nevertheless, and his health had started to deteriorate once more. He received medical care until last night at home. On December 23, Satyanarayana passed away at his residence in Hyderabad's Film Nagar. The actor passed during the early hours today. His final rites will be carried out tomorrow at Hyderabad's Mahaprasthanam.
Kaikala Satyanarayana was born in Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, in Kauthavaram, Gudlavalleru Mandal. He was born on July 25, 1935, He attended school at Gudivada and Vijayawada. Kaikala made his film debut in 1959 with "Sipai Kuturu." In a career spanning more than 55 years, Satyanarayana appeared in more than 770 films. He also served as Sr. NTR's ruse. Under his personal banner Rama Films, the legendary actor also produced movies. He took on a wide range of parts in movies, but his portrayal of Yama particularly endeared him to the audience. He is more commonly referred to as "Nava Rasa Natanaa Sarvabhouma."
