Senior actor Nassar says that the film industry will reopen most likely in the month of November or December. It has been almost four months since the theaters got shut down across the nation. All the shoots got stalled and the releases are on hold. The film industry is witnessing huge losses that were never seen before. Earlier, everyone thought that the situation will get back to the normal state by the end of July or early August. However, looking at the current state, it seems like the scenario will remain the same even at that time.
Recently, Nassar acted in a short film called Yashoda, directed by veteran actress Sripriya. This short film was entirely shot on mobile phones, following the guidelines of the lockdown. Nassar's portions in the film got filmed by his son Luthfudeen.
Speaking about the film in a recent interview, Nassar said that the short film shows a family stays united even when they are living in different places. Nassar stated that the reopening of theaters and the resumption of shootings will be a challenge for sure. He predicted that the works will resume either in November or December. Nassar also added that he reduced his remunerations to support the producers in this tough time. He said that it is the need of the hour. Nassar was last seen in the movie College Kumar. Directed by Hari Santosh, this movie features Rahul Vijay and Priya Vadlamani in the lead roles.
