Veteran KGF Actor Krishna G Rao Passes Away

Due to a lung infection, Kannada actor Krishna G Rao, who was best known for playing the title role of a blind man in Yash's KGF: Chapter 1, passed away.

Veteran KGF Actor Krishna G Rao Passes Away

On Wednesday, veteran Kannada actor Krishna G Rao passed away. He was most remembered for his flawless performance in the Yash-starring film KGF: Chapter 1. According to reports, the actor's age-related sickness led to his admission to a private hospital in Bengaluru. Due to a lung infection, he received care in the hospital's ICU.

 
Nevertheless, Krishna was unable to survive and passed away on Wednesday night. Sandalwood fans are lamenting his passing on social media.
 
For the unknown, Krishna G Rao was seen in the first part of the KGF franchise. He was portraying the titular character of a blind man. The scene was shown just before the fight sequence in which the hero Yash defeats the villains of Narachi.
 
Krishna has been a part of the industry for a number of years and has played supporting roles in numerous Sandalwood films. According to reports, Krishna has also worked as an assistant director for several years, even with the late actor Shankar Nag. But it was the KGF, in which he portrayed the part of an elderly blind guy, that made him famous for his memorable lines.
 
The KGF franchise also revealed the third part after the first and second. There has been a lot of excitement surrounding the unveiling of KGF 3. While it was thought that the sequel will begin filming soon, the producers notified us that the shoot will not begin anytime soon.
 
KGF's official Twitter page shared wrote: "Condolences from the Hombale film team on the passing away of Krishna G Rao, fondly known as Tata by KGF fans. Om Shanti."
