Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will play the lead roles in the upcoming film Brahmastra. Directed by Ayan Mukherjee, the film will be made in three parts.

 
The teaser for the trailer of the movie had released last day. The trailer also introduces Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Mauni Roy. Alia Bhatt shared the trailer on social media saying that the movie will be yours in 100 days.
 
The trailer of the movie was prepared with VFX footage which includes fiery figures, arrows, and bows of supernatural powers.
 
Controversy has erupted on Twitter following the release of the teaser trailer. While one group praises the trailer and VFX, another group raises criticisms.
 
Some have hailed the trailer as a marvel-level visual experience. Audiences tweeted that this is the first VFX of its kind in India and that Bollywood will reach another level with Brahmastra.
 
At the same time, many people shared on Twitter that VFX does not meet the standards. Some tweets suggest that the VFX scenes in the film are reminiscent of the Hollywood film Moana.
 
Some commented that VFX looks more like a serial and the content looks more like TV serials.
 
The trailer for the movie will release on June 15. Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, Fox Star Studios, Prime Focus, and Starlight Pictures produced the film. The first part of the film will release on September 9, 2022.
 
The South Indian distribution rights of the film have been acquired by director SS Rajamouli. Rajamouli will release the film in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
