It looks like Bollywood artists are the next victim to the surging COVID-19 cases in India as one after the other, actors are announcing their reports as positive for the virus. After Akshay Kumar announced he got hospitalised due to COVID-19, his Toilet: Ek Prem Katha co-star Bhumi Pednekar too contracted the virus. Bhumi took to her social media handle to inform the same to her fans and loved ones.
Not just her, but actor Vicky Kaushal has contracted the virus too. "In spite of all care and precautions, unfortunately, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all essential protocols, I am under home quarantine, taking medication as prescribed by my doctor. I request all those who came in contact with me to immediately get tested. Take care and stay safe," wrote the Raazi actor in his post.
Vicky Kaushal was shooting with Kiara Advani for their upcoming film. It is said that Bhumi was also shooting for the same film and there's a high chance that the two actors have got the virus from the sets of their film. Bhumi says she has mild symptoms and has isolated herself immediately. She also advised everyone to take this virus seriously.
