Vicky Kaushal recently appeared on the program Chala Hawa Yeu Dya. Vicky shocked everyone by speaking flawless Marathi the entire episode. He also shared his favorite Maharashtrian dish and many other things about his difficult time on the show.
Vicky, who is now a very well-known personality in the industry, recalled a time when producers were hesitant to use him. But his mother constantly encouraged him. He stated: "There was a point when I had trouble finding a job. I have no idea why. After each unsuccessful audition, I would return home and tell my mother, "I can see my dream disappearing; I don't know what is happening to me."
His mother used to inspire him by saying, "Tu ye mat sochna ki kyu aur Kaise ye sab ho Raha hai tu bass Hoga sab theek ye yakeen rakhna," he said. Her words used to melt him and Vicky then decided to be upbeat about his career.
Vicky responded that he enjoys eating spicy food. He said he has a deep affection for Bhakarwadi and Thecha when asked about his favorite Maharashtrian snack. Additionally, host Nilesh eventually asked Vicky why he spoke Marathi so well. "I was born and raised in Maharashtra, so I feel more rooted and linked to this place. Additionally, all my school and childhood buddies are from Maharashtra. Thus, I speak Marathi well and am really proud of it ", Vicky stated.
On the professional front, Vicky recently appeared with Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar in Govindaa Naam Mera. It is now available on Disney Plus Hotstar.
