Vidya Balan reacts on the release of Manu Sharma, says 'No amount of time for him in jail is enough'
Vidya Balan, who played the role of Jessica's sister Sabrina in No One Killed Jessica, reacts to the release of Manu Sharma. Manu was sentenced to life sentence for killing Jessica, a 34-year old woman.

She told a leading website, "Personally speaking, I don’t think any amount of time for him or for people like him in jail is enough. So that will always play in my mind. Yes, maybe he has turned a new leaf. I hope he has. I hope he is a reformed person”.
Vidya also said that she hopes Manu has really reformed himself after being in prison for all this time. She added, "So that’s all one can hope you know, after spending so much time in jail. That is the point of being in prison, right? That you reform. So let us hope that has happened.”
No One Killed Jessica was based on the real-life case of Jessica Lall. Jessica was shot inside a bar when she refused to serve drinks to Manu Sharma during fatal hours. The film also starred Rani Mukerji in the lead role. The whole case of the killing of Jessica Lall was depicted well by the director Raj Kumar Gupta.
