Director Atlee and his wife Priya recently announced that they are expecting their first child. Meanwhile, Priya Atlee's baby shower celebration took place yesterday (Dec. 19) in Chennai. Many movie stars and close family friends attended the spectacular occasion. Vijay was there at Atlee's family event as well. He gave the pair a heartfelt gift.

For the actor's 68th movie, Vijay and Atlee are reportedly reunited. It's expected to be a greater undertaking than their past movies. Atlee is now working on his first Bollywood picture, "Jawaan". It stars Shah Rukh Khan in the title role. It is due out in theatres in June 2023.
Vijay has concluded the shoot of Varisu. He is about to begin Thalapathy 67. Regarding "Thalapathy 67," the director has yet to make an official statement on the movie. According to reports, Trisha will play the movie's female protagonist. Anirudh Ravichander is responsible for the score.
