It is the first time in eight years that two box office rivals will be facing off. Vijay has reacted to the conflict between "Thunivu" and "Varisu." Actor Shaam plays a significant part as Vijay's brother in the film Varisu. In his most recent interview with a YouTube channel, he provided some fascinating information.
Following the announcement that "Thunivu" will be released on Pongal, Shaam called Vijay to let him know. But the latter was quite composed about the development. He expressed happiness that his friend Ajith's movie was coming out at the same time as his own. He wished that "Thunivu" would do well at the box office alongside "Varisu." Then, on social media, fans thanked Vijay for his consideration for the movies starring other actors. Vijay expressed his support for Ajith's "Veeram" when it competed with the Vijay's "Jilla" at the 2014 Pongal box office.
H Vinoth also approached Shaam about playing the antagonist in Ajith's "Thunivu". But, the actor was unable to take part because the film's shooting schedule conflicted with those of Vijay's "Varisu." According to Shaam, no one has yet guessed the "Varisu" story in response to stories about it. This caused the fans to reconsider the plot of Vijay's upcoming movie. They expect a unique movie from filmmaker Vamshi Paidipally.
