Vijay Sethupathi devastated after seeing SP Jananathan in hospital

Vijay Sethupathi is currently waiting for the release of his upcoming film Laabam. The film, which also stars Shruti Haasan, is directed by SP Jananathan. Recently, we reported that director SP Jananathan was found unconscious at his home a couple of days ago. He was overseeing the post-production work of Laabam and went back home to have his lunch. When he did not come back to the editing studio, one of his assistants went to his home to check. After he found him unconscious, Jananathan was rushed to a hospital nearby where he was diagnosed with a blood clot in his brain. He is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit.

Reportedly, Vijay Sethupathi visited the hospital to see SP Jananathan. He tried to wake him up despite people telling him not to. Vijay Sethupathi said that it is his director and he will definitely try to wake him up. When SP Jananathan did not wake up, Vijay Sethupathi was moved to tears and said, "Avlodan life la...Avlodan life (sic)." Currently, SP Jananathan is getting treated at the hospital in the Intensive Care Unit. Many reports suggested that he has already passed away. Karu Pazhaniappan and other filmmakers called it false.
