Jawan is Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film. The film introduced Atlee as a filmmaker in Bollywood. Alongside him, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi will also make their Bollywood debuts. Recently, in an interview, he revealed how got the offer to play a negative role in Jawan.

 
Speaking to IndiaToday.in, Vijay Sethupathi spoke about Shah Rukh Khan and said, "e is a gentleman and I was very happy. He respects people. I met him first in Australia during the Melbourne Film Festival. It was interesting because I thought SRK sir is there, who will ask for us? Hence, we were just waiting outside. Later, we were called inside, me and the Super Deluxe team. We went and I couldn’t find chairs for me. Later, I noticed it was placed next to Shah Rukh Khan, Sir. had never met SRK before. He praised me and it came as a shock to me. After the festival, we met at the after-party, and he came to me and said that he meant the praise. He told me that he really loved my film Vikram Vedha.”
 
He then revealed how he landed a role in Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan. He said, "“I met SRK again at Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan’s wedding and I told him ‘I want to be a bad guy for you, sir.’ He said, ‘we were really hoping to cast you.’ From that conversation, we met and Jawan happened. was nervous on the first day of shoot but SRK took care of me like a kid. I was very nervous on day 1 and it was good that my first day of shooting was not with him. But, I had a good time. I loved working with SRK.”
