Vijay Sethupathi is one of the talented actors in Indian cinema and his excellent performances have earned him fans in Bollywood as well. Now, the actor is busy shooting for multiple films in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi as well.
For the last couple of years, Vijay Sethupathi has promoted multiple products, apps, and clothing stores. Recently, he appeared in an advertisement promoting the Mandee app, through which people can sell and buy commodities, mainly food items such as rice, millets, vegetables, and fruits as well.
In the ad, Sethupathi said that the app will be beneficial to farmers as there won’t be any mediators and they can sell their commodities in bulk as well. But, the members of small scale industries and owners of small retail shops in Tamil Nadu revolted against Sethupathi for promoting this application.
They claim that this application will affect their business and will result in losses. However, Sethupathi and his team believe that this app will help farmers sell their goods at a reasonable price and not settle for less. The representatives of the Mandee app sent out a press release explaining the process of their application clearing all doubts.
