Vijay Sethupathi opts out of Allu Arjun's Pushpa, more details inside

Pushpa is one of the upcoming films in Telugu right now. Stylish Star Allu Arjun is playing the lead role in the film. Since Pushpa is coming right after Ala Vaikunthapurramloo, there is a huge buzz around the movie. Also, the film marks the reunion of Sukumar with Allu Arjun for the third time. The duo already delivered successful films like Arya and Arya 2 in the past. Hence, the combination naturally carries expectations too. There is an interesting rumor on this project now. If the buzz is true, the movie will not have Vijay Sethupathi as the lead antagonist.

Vijay Sethupathi's inclusion in the project is confirmed long back by the makers. Interestingly now, we came to know that he is not going to be a part of the film. Pushpa makers started looking out for the options to get a Bollywood actor on board for the film, to play the lead antagonist. Jackie Shroff, Niel Nitin Mukesh, Suniel Shetty, and other names are in consideration. By the time the lockdown comes to an end, the makers will finalize the lead antagonist who replaces Vijay Setupathi in the film. As of now, the reason for Vijay Sethupathi's exit is unknown but the makers are expected to make a formal statement on the same. Jagapathi Babu, Raj Deepak Shetty, and Vennela Kishore are also a part of the movie. Rashmika Mandanna is the leading lady of the movie. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director of the movie.
