For the first time in their careers, Superstar heroines Nayanthara and Samantha are joining hands for a movie. They are going to act together in the film Kathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, directed by Vignesh Shivan. Star hero Vijay Sethupathi will play the male lead in this movie. Touted to be a triangular love story, this film got announced a couple of days back on Valentines' Day.
According to the sources, it will be an out and out entertainer where Samantha and Nayantara's characters fight over each other to win the love of Sethupathi. The regular shoot of this film commences from April. Apparently, Vijay is losing weight for this film as it is a love story. Thus, we might see him in a new young look for this flick.
This is the second film in the combination of Vignesh Shivn, Vijay Sethupathi, and Nayanthara. The trio has earlier worked together for the film Naanum Rowdy Thaan. On the flip side, it is the first project for Samantha with the rest three. Though she acted in Super Deluxe in which Vijay was also there, they didn't have any combinations scenes in that anthology. Kathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal will hit the screens by the end of this year. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for it.
