Vijay Sethupathi's Masterchef Tamil Will Premiere On August 1

Vijay Sethupathi first hosted a Tamil show titled Namma Ooru Hero on Sun Television. The show featured real-life heroes and the actor did a fair job in highlighting their struggles and their inspiring story. Now, Vijay Sethupathi is back to hosting once again. As reported earlier, Vijay Sethupathi will host Masterchef India-Tamil on the Sun Television channel. Recently, the promo of the show was unveiled and received a positive response. Now, the latest update is that the show will go on air from August 1 at 9.30 pm on Sun TV. The show will be aired every Saturday and Sunday with three professional chefs as judges.

Regarding the show, Vijay Sethupathi, in a statement, said, "Hosting MasterChef is one of the most exciting projects in my career. The grandeur of the show is unparalleled and I’m sure that this will set a new benchmark for culinary shows in the Tamil GEC space. IFA has really brought to life many aspects from our kitchens and has added a spark to it in the MasterChef kitchen. We have poured all our heart into this show and I am thrilled for it to hit the screens soon in August.” The show's shooting is currently progressing at a brisk pace at Bangaluru's Innovative Film City for the past few weeks.
