Shah Rukh Khan has been lauded by his Jawan co-star Vijay Sethupathi and described as a gentleman. Vijay Sethupathi added in a recent interview that despite being anxious on the first day, Shah Rukh helped him feel "very comfortable." He also remembered how Shah Rukh always encouraged him to talk about sequences with him.
The movie Jawan, helmed by director Atlee, is advertised as having intense action scenes. Red Chillies Entertainment, Shah Rukh's production firm, is in charge of its production. On June 2, the movie will be available in theatres around the world in five languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Vijay said, "He was very sweet. It was a very good experience. I was a bit nervous on the first day, because he is a very big artiste, but he made me very comfortable. He didn’t have a scene on that day, but he was there to make me feel comfortable. He is very sweet; I can discuss with him… He is a gentleman; I really had a good time with Shah Rukh sir."
Vijay also said, "I had a good time working on Jawan with Atlee and Shah Rukh sir. He (Shah Rukh) is a gentleman, he will never show that I am in the industry for so many years and I am the superstar. Like, how I work with my co-actors, I could discuss (scenes) with him the same way. And then sometimes I would say, ‘sorry sir, if I disturb you’, he would say, ‘no Vijay, do it’. I was very comfortable with him and he is very sweet."
Fans may watch Vijay in the upcoming Prime Video series Farzi by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK. Along with him, Shahid Kapoor, Raashii Khanna, Kay Kay Menon, Amol Palekar, and Bhuvan Arora also appear in it. On February 10, the series will be available on Prime Video. Additionally, he will star alongside Katrina Kaif in the forthcoming thriller Merry Christmas. The Sriram Raghavan-directed film will be shown in theatres this year in both Tamil and Hindi.
The next film to include Shah Rukh Khan will be Pathaan, in which he plays the spy with the same name. Pathaan is directed by Siddharth Anand. The film also features John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, Dimple Kapadia, and Ashutosh Rana. The movie opens in theatres on January 25. He also has the Taapsee Pannu and Rajkumar Hirani film Dunki.
