Lady Amitabh Bachchan Vijayashanti made a comeback into films after a long gap of 13 years, with the latest flick Sarileru Neekevvaru. Vijayashanti bid adieu for her film career to focus on politics. After all these years, upon the insistence of the team of Sarileru Neekevvaru, she made her comeback.
The film got released during the Sankranthi festive weekend and got a tremendous response from the audience. It has become one of the biggest hits in Superstar Mahesh Babu's career. Vijaya Shanti also got a meaty role in the film and the viewers felt delighted by watching her after a long gap. Everyone thought that she would make more movies from now on but it looks like the actress has no such plans.
Last night Vijayashanti tweeted, "I thank all the audience who received Sarileru Neekevvaru well. I thank everyone who supported me since my debut films Kallukul Iram and Khiladi Krishnudu to the latest film Sarileru Neekevvaru."
"I am not sure whether my political journey would allow me to do another film soon. I am forever grateful to all your love and support- yours Vijaya Shanti," she added. This statement clarified that the actress has no plans of making films anytime soon.
