Vijay, who just released 'Beast,' is presently filming a Tamil Telugu bilingual film named 'Varisu,' directed by Vamshi Paidipally. The film stars Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles, with Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Shaam, Sangeetha Krish, Samyuktha Shanmuganathan, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, and Yogi Babu in supporting parts.

According to reports, the film's non-theatrical rights and Hindi dubbing rights have already been sold, and filming is presently underway in Hyderabad. It is also reported that because 'Varisu' was sold for a huge sum even before its release, Vijay's next film, 'Thalapathy 67,' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, will be sold for Rs 200 crore.
