According to the latest reports in Kollywood now, Pushkar Gayatri who got to fame national wide with the film Vikram Vedha ventures into the digital space. The director's duo is already famous in the movie industry, especially the South. They have now decided to expand their wings and experiment with OTT platforms. Apparently, they signed a web series for a leading platform already.
If the reports that come out become true, the director's duo presents a web series titled Suzhal. The shoot of the same is already in progress in Chennai. Popular filmmaker and actor Parthiepan comes on board to play an important role in the movie. Amazon Prime Video releases the film on its platform in the second half of this year.
Also, the buzz states that Kathir and Aishwarya Rajesh might play the lead roles. Kathir came up with Bigil recently and he did not sign any big project yet. On the other side, Aishwarya Rajesh gears up for the grand release of her new movie World Famous Lover, with Vijay Devarakonda in Telugu. There is a huge buzz on the film now.
As of now, the news about Suzhal is speculation and we need a formal announcement.
